Hi Vistors,
I did order a Dream Combo the Nikon D500 and the Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC zoom. Unpacked the Combo and did first shots.
I wanted also test the the focus points of the D500 and did a shot most left horizontal and a most right horizontal one , and in the center focusing always on the clock.
The center shot was great - perfect focusing, but using the Focus-Points most right and left caused the image completetly out of focus (front-fokus);
Now was this an issue of the cam or the lens?;
luckily I had the Nikon 35mm G F.1.8 and could directly compare the output having no issues at all
My question now is - is this a default problem with the Sigma Zoom or did I got just a strange copy?
To be honest - I could not explain the issue as the focus indicator showed all exposuers as correctly focussed.
