Nikon D7000 seems to generate very soft Jpeg by default
even at ISO 100; So I loaded a Jpeg (http://robertbromfield.com/nikon-d7000-review-and-impressions/) into Lightroom 3
applied a bit sharpening and a lot more detail is visible;
So the 16Mp of the Nikon D7000 sensor too is capable of achieving sharp clear results.

Using a Nikon D7000 Raw file even could improve the Image quality again;
